Pahalgam a popular tourist destination with breathtaking views, is Kashmir's premier resort, deliciously cool even in the height of scorching summer heat. Pahalgam not only is the base of trek to Kolahoi glacier, also the starting point of the annual Amarnath Yatra.
Upon your arrival in Srinagar you will be escorted to your hotel. Depending on the time left in the day, you may opt for cruise on the Dal Lake.
Day 2 SRINAGAR (Gardens and Lakes):
Today is a trip to the celebrated Mogul gardens-Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh, Cheshma Shahi Hazratbal Shrine, Shankar Acharya Mandir. In the late afternoon, take an optional Shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Overnight in Srinagar.
Day 3 Srinagar - Gulmarg:
After breakfast, Gulmarg-the Meadow of Flowers, which is situated at an altitude of 2730 m above the sea level. The distance between Srinagar and Gulmarg is approximately 60 km and it takes two hours drive from Srinagar to reach. Gulmarg provides great opportunities for golfers, skiers and walkers in exceptional beauty and has the world's highest green golf course and also turns into India's premier ski resort in winter. Pony riding is a popular activity in Gulmarg; you can ride to the upland meadow of Khillanmarg and back. The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadow of Kongdori for viewing the Himalayan peaks.
Day 4 Srinagar - Pahalgam:
After an early breakfast drive to Pahalgam, a destination of snow-capped mountains, dancing streams ad evergreen forests. As you approach Pahalgam out skirts you feel as if the doors of heaven are opening once you face the gushing Lidder stream pushing the white waters in a rhythm past giant boulders and curving path of the river. You have an opportunity to take on these challenging waters on a raft and just watch from ashore. A picnic lunch is always a treat along the shores of Lidder River. You can also take a pony ride to uplands, such as the Baisaran and Betab valley for more enjoyment. Now that you had a great time in Pahalgam, it’s time to return to Srinagar for overnight and dinner.
Day 5 Srinagar - Departure:
After having breakfast,transfer to airport.
